PET/SPECT Quantitative Analysis

MIMneuro is for Radiology/Nuclear Medicine departments seeking to increase diagnostic confidence in PET and SPECT neuroimaging review. It is also ideal for Neuro Research.

We are doing twice as many Neuro PET exams as we did a year ago. This is a direct result of the quantitative capability of MIMneuro which allows us to generate more definitive reports that our clinicians have confidence in. MIMneuro is an enormous tool for neuro PET, and in my opinion an obligatory tool.

I have increased confidence using PET for tumor evaluation in the brain since MIMneuro can detect changes in metabolic expression which may not be visually conspicuous in the context of intense cortical uptake."

Larry McNamee, M.D., Medical Director
Specialty Teleradiology, Westlake, Ohio

MIMneuro provides fully automated quantitative analysis of neurological disorders including Alzheimer’s Disease and other dementias.

MIMneuro performs sophisticated deformable registrations, facilitating comparisons to a database of age-appropriate normals.1 A comprehensive 3D Anatomical Brain Atlas is included to allow easy localization of structures of interest.

The MIMneuro Epilepsy Workflow quickly performs ictal-interictal SPECT subtractions and fusion with MR to localize epileptic foci.

The MIM workflow significantly reduces processing time by our technologist; from a question of an hour to minutes. Indeed, I can quickly process the data myself which makes me independent of technologist availability. I can read the study when I’m ready, not when it’s ready.

The workflow is useful especially for extratemporal epilepsy. In particular the cluster analysis increases my diagnostic confidence. It is also helpful to show the epilepsy localization to my non radiology colleagues."

Peter Faulhaber, M.D., Director, Clinical PET
University Hospitals of Cleveland
Case Western Reserve University Medical Center

MIMneuro is a powerful tool that improves diagnostic and referring physician confidence resulting in enhanced patient care.
