MIMneuro now includes an automated workflow for Epilepsy Analysis performing ictal-interictal SPECT subtractions and MR co-registration in a few easy steps, all within one diagnostic reading station.

This Workflow automates the fusion, normalization, subtraction, and display of multiple data sets. Inclusion of statistical Cluster Analysis and integration of the Anatomical Brain Atlas provides increased confidence in localizing truly significant foci.

The MIM workflow significantly reduces processing time by our technologist; from a question of an hour to minutes. Indeed, I can quickly process the data myself which makes me independent of technologist availability. I can read the study when I’m ready, not when it’s ready.

The workflow is useful especially for extratemporal epilepsy. In particular the cluster analysis increases my diagnostic confidence. It is also helpful to show the epilepsy localization to my non radiology colleagues."
