Radiology/Nuclear Medicine - PET Contouring

pre/post tumor volume comparison

PET Contouring

In addition to the tools provided by MIMfusion, radiologists and nuclear medicine physicians can benefit from MIM's PET Contouring Tools: PET Edge, Absolute SUV Threshold, and Percent of Max Threshold. These tools, found in MIMcontouring and MIMcontouring Advanced, add a new and necessary dynamic to your reports.

PET Edge is MIM's innovative tool for precise tumor delineation1, improving confidence and accuracy by eliminating the variability often occurring from different user-defined regions and thresholds.

In seconds, you can calculate tumor volumes for comparison studies, quantify a tumor's response to therapy and save contours for easy comparison with future exams. Contours can also be saved as DICOM RT Structure Sets allowing Radiation Oncologists to import them into their Radiation Therapy plans.

Guide biopsies by showing the most metabolically active portion of the tumor – especially important in large partially necrotic lesions. All of this is possible without adding time to your workflow.
