Fast and Efficient Therapy Response Assessment

In order to evaluate treatment effects and tumor recurrence quickly and efficiently, MIMcontouring and MIMcontouring Advanced provide a suite of tools for multimodality therapy response assessment.

I have been using MIM for PET/CT reviews for a few years now, and find it far superior to several other PET/CT review platforms I have used. MIM outperforms other platforms when it comes to the follow-up of cancer patients for assessment of interval change after therapy.

User-friendly features of MIM makes it very convenient to coregister multiple sets of images (PET and CT original and follow up studies), and correct for any mis-registrations due to patient motion, etc. In addition, the 3D volumetric tumor analysis for more accurate assessment of global tumor change is surprisingly easy to use and accurately reproducible."

Tumors can be segmented accurately in seconds using PET Edge and compared quickly and easily across time-points through customizable workflows. PET Edge overcomes the limitations of thresholding methods and produces precise and consistent tumor segmentation.1

Treatment decisions are aided by quantitative SUV and volumetric information automatically calculated by MIM. All contour statistics can be exported to a spreadsheet.

Differences between exams can be highlighted quickly using MIM's Subtraction Analysis Tools. Subtraction images can also be fused to a CT for more accurate anatomical localization of the changes between the exams.

The advanced CT/MR segmentation tools provided in MIMcontouring and MIMcontouring Advanced allow quantitative statistics to be automatically obtained from anatomical modalities including volume, RECIST, and WHO.

Contours from previous exams can also be deformed to the current exam using the Adaptive Re-contouring tool within MIMcontouring Advanced, saving valuable time in the evaluation process.

MIM's Therapy Response Assessment tools provide the functionality and information you need to to help make crucial treatment decisions.
